Composition: Sulfadimidine 308.6 mg –
Excipients up to 1 ml.
Indications: For the treatment of infections caused by bacteria that are susceptible to sulfonamides. For the treatment of coccidiosis in poultry.
Dosage and mode of administration:
By intravenous injection:
Cattle, sheep, goats, horses:
– initial dose: 0.66 ml Sulfakel 33% /kg b.w.
– maintenance dose: 0.33 ml Sulfakel 33%/kg b.w., once daily for 3-5 days.
By oral administration via the drinking water:
Poultry: 3.5-7 ml Sulfakel 33%/litre of drinking water, during 3-5 days.
Withdrawal period:
* Cattle, sheep, goats:
Meat and offal: 10 days – Milk: 5 days.
* Horses: Meat and offal: 10 days
* Poultry: Meat and offal: 12 days – Eggs: 12 days.
